Privacy Policy

RankForge ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Ease AI, Malaysia. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. We comply with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 ("PDPA") and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

1. What we collect

• Audit inputs: the website domain you submit for a free audit.
• Contact details you provide: your name, email address, and optionally your WhatsApp number, when you request a report or get in touch.
• Qualifying information you choose to share: industry, approximate monthly traffic band, budget band, and timeline, when you complete the report request form.
• Technical data: standard server logs and privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (via Plausible) that do not track you across sites or build an advertising profile.

2. Why we use it (lawful basis)

• To run the audit you requested and deliver your report — this is performance of a service you asked for.
• To contact you about your audit and, where you opted in, about how we could help — based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
• To operate, secure and improve the site — based on our legitimate interest in running a safe, working service.

3. How long we keep it (retention)

We keep personal data only as long as we need it:

• Leads who do not become customers: we delete your personal data 90 days after your last interaction with us, unless you ask us to keep it longer or sooner delete it.
• Customers: we retain data for the duration of our engagement and for as long as required to meet legal, accounting and tax obligations, after which it is deleted.
• Audit results: anonymised, aggregated statistics may be retained indefinitely; these cannot be traced back to you.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers needed to deliver our service — for example email delivery and hosting — under contracts that require them to protect it. We may disclose data where required by law.

5. Where it is stored

Your data is processed on secure servers. Where data is transferred outside Malaysia or the EEA, we ensure an adequate level of protection consistent with the PDPA and GDPR.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Under the GDPR you also have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and review our practices regularly.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
